Jacqueline Bozon Dutch, b. 1966

"It's all about the art of seeing without thinking, and not thinking that one sees."

Jacqueline Bozon's view on life is reflected in her art. Bozon is inspired by her experiences, encounters, and observations which she transforms into a colorful play of lines on canvas. Color is her language, a universal language that can be easily understood, and one that has multiple translations. Her technique is as mysterious as it is perfect; innumerable layers of paint, applied with her fingers to feel the relief of the lines  which are accurately delineated by meters of tape, and whose vibrant colors are enhanced by a carefully applied layer of resin. The end result is a spatial work of art with a glossy look, but when you look beyond the surface, you'll discover the true essence of Bozon's world.
